Legend of the Rainbow Butterfly

For the longest time I've been wanting to sketch either Holly or the Firbit folk of Dark Cloud 2 and today I finally decided that I was going to sketch Holly after listening to some of my personal audio recordings of the game. I've always loved Holly's design once she was revealed and I thought her story was cute and sad.
When players first start off chapter two of Dark Cloud 2, they are warned by the leader of the Firbit folk, Conda, of the legend of a rainbow colored butterfly that lives within the Rainbow Butterfly Woods. Normally the idea of a rainbow colored butterfly doesn't sound threatening, in fact, it sounds like a beautiful creature. However, the player is told that anyone who lays eyes upon this butterfly never leaves the woods again and given that at that point four Firbit folk and a young woman named Holly were missing after going into the Woods, it seemed like a valid reason to start wondering how true that legend is. As it's later revealed, the missing Firbits didn't come across any Rainbow Butterfly (rather, they were stuck in a swampy area because they drank swamp water) and the missing young woman named Holly was the legendary Rainbow Butterfly.
For this sketch, I wanted to keep it simple as that was one of the reasons why I loved this game. Artistically it wasn't very complicated or overly detailed like modern day games. I also sketched the seven different colored butterflies around her to as reference to her role as the legendary Rainbow Butterfly of the Rainbow Butterfly Woods (the bottom one is green, it's just that my camera didn't exactly didn't capture the color right).
Sketched in pen, shaded with pen. Each butterfly was done with a different colored pen. Holly is from Dark Cloud 2 which belongs to Level-5.
